Japhet parents are all members – automatic upon their children’s enrollment – of the Japhet School PSG. Led by a small group of parent officers, parent volunteers organize teacher appreciation week, the annual Dessert Auction, and more. Parents who enjoy working with groups of children are welcome to volunteer in classrooms. We do very few product-based fundraisers, focusing instead on encouraging parents to support our signature 18 Reasons for Hope fundraiser.
We also enjoy the opportunity to learn from parents who have unique life experiences that they’re willing to pass on to our students, and our small size enables us to schedule special presentations that respect parents’ availability.
