Thank you for your support during this challenging time. I want to assure you that our number one priority continues to be the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff. As shared in my previous communications, I will make every effort to keep you informed of any decisions that affect your children’s educational experience.
Governor Whitmer has directed all K-12 schools to close beginning Monday, March 16.
Teachers will be assisting students in bringing home all necessary books, computers, and school work in preparation for distance learning. Distance learning is new to all of us, and we are working to ensure that each student has ample materials and activities to continue their education at home. We ask for your patience and support as we work together to implement these efforts in our community.
The custodial crew will continue to sanitize and clean the building, classrooms, restroom, and common areas. So that the crew may effectively clean the building, students will be bringing home all belongings from their lockers. Once again, I’m tremendously grateful for your support ~ we will remain calm, alert, and continue to follow procedures that help us to remain healthy and safe.
We’re in this together and I can assure you that when we return to school, we’ll be ready to continue our full schedules together with joy and enthusiasm.
